SecureCases is a browser-based program created and designed in 2009 specifically for organizations that provide supervised visitation and access services to families. It does everything you need to run your office and assist your clients through separate, password-protected portals. It can eliminate nearly all of your paperwork and most of your phone calls. Honest. And you use it on any smart device -- your office computers, your home computer, laptop, iPad, tablet, phone, any device connected to the Internet. Any platform, any browser. Anywhere, any time. But always secured, private, protected.

The application helps manage visitations, exchanges and parenting classes, and it produces real-time reports on all services provided. The reports can be personalized for state and funder requirements. All you have to do is push a button whenever you want one -- and the report is done. Right then. No work, no sweat. These reports can even be created instantly in an Excel worksheet (if you have Excel installed on your computer and use any recent version of Internet Explorer).

Here are some of the program's highlights:

  • Provides separate password-protected access for all groups of users: office staff, clients, case workers, judges, attorneys, state officials, etc., all on a need-to-know basis. Also, all data received and sent from their Internet-connected devices are encrypted for additional protection.
  • Keeps track and display every appointment requested, declined, confirmed, withdrawn or canceled -- and sends auto-email notices when any of those actions are taken.
  • Provides clients with a live, up-to-the-minute calendar where they can see what time slots are available for visitations and exchanges -- and make their own appointment requests without assistance by staff.
  • Manages all case notes, staff reports and internal messages sent and received by staff and clients. Even lets you know if a client has seen your message -- and exactly when.
  • Records all fees (some automatically) and payments, and provide this information -- and the balance -- to participants in real time. Also, you can provide clients with a Paypal option, integrated with the program's database, so they can pay their fees from their own computer.   • Stores digitized documents, including court orders and personal records.
  • Can be accessed 24/7 from anywhere.

The program also offers an open portal for the general public to inquire about services. This page should be linked from your own website and also made available to judges and family court lawyers.

All information entered and viewed using this program is protected by Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS), a combination of the Hypertext Transfer Protocol with the SSL/TLS protocol to provide encryption and secure identification of the server. (This is often used by Websites for payment transactions and for sensitive transactions in corporate information systems.) All data is stored in a powerful SQL Server database hosted at one of the country's largest and best-protected server centers -- and is regularly backed up at another location more than 300 miles away as an extra precaution.
